International
The following organizations are partnering with the Will Steger Foundation in the lead up to and during the Copenhagen negotiation, known as COP15.

350.org: Established by author and environmentalist Bill McKibben, 350.org is an international campaign dedicated to building a movement to unite the world around solutions to the climate crisis--the solutions that science and justice demand. Our mission is to inspire the world to rise to the challenge of the climate crisis—to create a new sense of urgency and of possibility for our planet. Our focus is on the number 350--as in parts per million, the level scientists have identified as the safe upper limit for CO2 in our atmosphere. But 350 is more than a number--it's a symbol of where we need to head as a planet.

WWF Arctic Programme: World Wildlife Fund works with our partners around the circumpolar north to preserve the Arctic's rich biodiversity and combat threats from climate change. As well as lobbying arctic governments to accelerate conservation strategies and sustainable development in the Arctic, the Programme is also responsible for running a number of its own projects on, for example, the impacts of climate change in the arctic and ecotourism.

Bellona: A Norwegian-based NGO established by Frederic Hauge, Bellona works on international environmental threats, including climate change and nuclear contamination. The main objective of Bellona USA is to encourage the United States to tackle climate change now.

National
The following organizations are providing climate policy support and action resources for Expedition Copenhagen’s Midwest Climate Campaign.

SustainUS: Founded in 2001, SustainUS is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization of young people advancing sustainable development and youth empowerment in the United States. Through proactive education and advocacy at the policy-making level and at the grassroots, we are building a future in which all people recognize the inherent equality and interdependence of social, economic, and environmental sustainability. We strive to reflect our values through the diversity of members and projects, our ongoing commitment to educating ourselves and others, and the way we live our lives. SustainUS (or US youth for sustainable development) is the leading youth organization that brings delegations of U.S.based youth to conferences and summits related to international policy, primarily at the United Nations. Our delegates work with government delegates, fellow civil society members, and other youth to promote youth-friendly and future-focused policies related to sustainable development and climate change.

National Wildlife Federation: The National Wildlife Federation's Campus Ecology® program promotes climate leadership and sustainability among colleges and universities by providing resources and technical support, creating networking opportunities and organizing education events.

1sky: 1Sky was created in 2007 to focus the power of millions of concerned Americans on a single goal: bold federal action by 2010 that can stem global warming. The 1Sky Solutions are grounded in scientific necessity—they are the bottom line of what's needed to dramatically reduce carbon emissions while maximizing energy efficiency, renewable energy and breakthrough technologies. They also represent significant economic promise. By pivoting to a clean energy economy, we can relieve our dependence on foreign oil, unlock the potential of sustainable industry and usher in a new era of prosperity and green jobs. The 1Sky campaign is founded on a principle of nationwide inclusion. Our sole purpose is to unite, build, and catalyze the climate change movement behind a set of solutions that hold the promise of rapidly reducing carbon emissions while jumpstarting a green energy economy.

Indigenous Environmental Network: Established in 1990 within the United States, IEN was formed by grassroots Indigenous peoples and individuals to address environmental and economic justice issues (EJ). IEN's activities include building the capacity of Indigenous communities and tribal governments to develop mechanisms to protect our sacred sites, land, water, air, natural resources, health of both our people and all living things, and to build economically sustainable communities.

Sierra Student Coalition: The Sierra Student Coalition (SSC) is a broad network of high school and college-aged youth from across the country working to protect the environment. The SSC is the youth-led chapter of the Sierra Club, the nation's oldest and largest grassroots environmental organization.

Climate Counts: Climate Counts is a non-profit campaign that scores companies annually on the basis of their voluntary action to reverse climate change. The Climate Counts Company Scorecard -- launched in June 2007 -- helps people vote with their dollars by making climate-conscious purchasing and investing choices that put pressure on the world's most well-known companies to take the issue of climate change seriously. Launched by organics pioneer Stonyfield Farm, Climate Counts believes everyday consumers can be the most important activists in the fight against global warming. Climate Counts has currently evaluated nearly 150 companies in sixteen major consumer sectors with plans to expand the number of companies and sectors. Climate Counts' work has appeared in many of the world's leading media outlets, among them the New York Times, National Public Radio, The Economist, BBC World Service, the Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, The Huffington Post, and the Harvard Business Review. The organization will launch its iPhone app later this year and its Climate Counts Industry Innovators (I2) program in early 2010.
